We are very happy to announce the signing of centre Callan Beckett who is another new recruit sure to add experience to the Bears ranks for next season.
Tom Tsang commented on the new signing:
Callan adds some strike to our backline, as he is a tall and athletic and has a strong Rugby League CV, having previously tasted Championship Rugby League with Dewsbury Rams.Hailing from Widnes, Cal joins the side immediately and is another player that already knows a number of the current squad and so should fit straight in. We are now at the start of pre-season, and with the likes of Callan now finally over the line, the squad is almost complete and it I am confident we will improve on last seasons form.
