Coventry Bears are delighted to announce that this summer we launch Bearfest Summer Community Camp in association with Coventry Youth Foundation and funded by the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.
Children from 8-16 will have the opportunity to play a multitude of sports in the summer holidays.
Based at the Xcel Leisure Centre and delivered by Bears players we hope this will grow our community and become a force for engaging children and reducing local anti-social behaviour.
Debbie Watson Bears in the Community Co-Ordinator said;
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to engage with the local community to encourage positive physical activity in the summer holiday period where youngsters can easily get bored and resort to anti social behaviour.
At just £1 a session it’s a great opportunity accessible to everyone.”
