Dan Gover
We are delighted to announce that Coventry local Dan Gover has signed for the Bears.
Tom Tsang commented;
"Dan is a real success story for RL in Coventry, as he is a local lad, and grew up playing rugby union and also spent a number of years in our junior set up at the Bears. More recently the big, athletic prop has tasted open age Rugby League for local amateur side Coventry Dragons who re-ignited the RL spark in him. Dan has also been impressing in his perfomances for Coventry University and it was this form that caught my eye. He has been training hard all pre-season and now earns himself a contract and a chance to impress us further and push for regular first team opportunities."
Dan commented;
"I am really looking forward to getting stuck in, gaining more experience and developing my game. Training has been good, getting us up to the fitness level the coaching staff want us at for a first pre season game this month. Myself and the other new boys have mixed well with the lads kept on from last season. We have a good set of lads and I Want to help complete the strong season that we are working towards."
