Bears Sign Morrison for 2016
Coventry Bears today secured the services of Jack Morrison for another season after the dynamic prop forward agreed terms on a new one year deal.
The former Warrington Academy and Barrow prop joined the club eight weeks ago and has been a key part of the recently improved performances.
In the short time he has been at the club Morrison has swiftly become a favourite amongst the fans, through his hard running style and try scoring capabilities, who will all be pleased to see him remain on at the club for the 2016 season.
Speaking on his signing Morrison said: “I'm very pleased to be staying at Coventry for next season, I have really enjoyed myself over the last 8 weeks of coming down and getting regular playing time which is what any player wants and needs. Coventry is a very ambitious club and with the team spirit which has been present throughout the season on and off the field it will be a great experience to be part of it throughout the coming season.”
As his first resigning of the season Bears Alan Robinson said: "I am delighted to have Jack sign with us for next season he has become a real fan favourite and has fitted in very well with our environment. He is a top metre gainer and is one of the most honest props ive seen all year. He is a great guy both on and off the field and one I know our players respect"
The Bears will shortly be announcing another major resigning who has caught the fans imagination of the course of their inaugural League One campaign.
