BEARS SIGN KIERAN SMITH

We are very pleased to announce the signing of Stand off half Kieran Smith who is another England student international who has had experience at both League One and Reserve Grade at Hull FC.

Alan Robinson commented:

“I am very pleased to have secured Kierans signature. He fills a position of requirement in the Halves but also comes with experience and a fantastic attitude to wanting to be part of our set up. He also knows a number of our current squad members from playing with and against in student international games and that’s something that can only be a positive to fitting in as quickly as possible to our structure.”

Kieran said:

“I’m delighted to be signing for the Bears, speaking to Alan I knew I wanted to be part of what they have building. The club really sounds like it is in a brilliant position to become a top team in the league in the future and I’m excited to be part of that.

After a year playing in reserve grade I can’t wait to get back in to first team rugby. There’s a few familiar faces at Coventry that I know have a load of talent so to be playing with these people again makes me confident in what the club can achieve.”
