Bears Add Thompson to Raft of Re-Signings
Bears Liam Thompson
After last week announcing the re-signing of second row Chris Barratt the club can now confirm that his regular second row partner Liam Thompson has put pen to paper on a new deal for next season.
Leeds local Thompson signed for the Bears early last season and became a regular starter in his debut year with the club.
Speaking on the re-signing Tom Tsang said; "Similar to his backrow partner Chris Barratt, Liam is an unsung hero of our pack - he has the ability to play 80 minutes and rarely misses a tackle. He is very consistent with what he does and is a great bloke with a top attitude."
"He has played almost every game this year, despite carrying a niggling groin injury that he will have surgery on in the off-season. I am expecting him to return next season in great shape and will again be a great option for us in the pack."
