Bears’ Presentation Party 

Coventry Bears host junior section presentation afternoon 

Coventry Bears junior section held its end of season presentation afternoon on Sunday 20 August at Barkers Butts RFC. The presentation afternoon capped off a remarkable season of growth for the Bears on and off the pitch.

The Bears ran U10, U12 and U15 age groups with parents, carers, players and relatives turning out in force on a lovely sunny afternoon to celebrate the 2023 season. 

Bears founder & Chairperson Alan Robinson commented:

“Our junior section has gone from strangth to strength this year and it has filled me with pride to see not only the amount of new players joining and getting involved in the sport but that we have also grown our coaching personel from 3 to 7 coaches. The legacy of the club is in great hands now and I know over the coming years that all the players will grow with the clubs community values at the forefront of their development.” “I would also like to thank our club sponsors John Kiely from McDonald’s Coventry and Luke Talbot from PowerXEquipment who sponsor the club and our growth each year.

The Bears will build on this season’s success and look to participate in more RL festivals in the sports heartlands next year as well as form a new U8s age group team next season.
