We are delighted to announce that local player Alex Beddows has signed again for 2016 and will continue his exciting Rugby League development with the Bears.
Tom Tsang commented on the re-signing of Alex Beddows
"The re-signing of Alex is one that I am particularly excited about. He is a Coventry lad and is really proud to be able to represent his home-town in Rugby League. He played a handful of games last season and was a genuine threat when carrying the ball with his rugged and confrontational style of play. He is still very 'young' in his playing age having played his first game of Rugby League just over 18 months ago and still has a lot of learning to do, but his potential is huge. He has a fantastic attitude and brings great energy to training and I cant wait to see him continue his journey of development and improvement".
Alex commented:
"this is huge achievement for me personally, it is one thing for the coaches to sign you for the first professional season based on potential, but to act on that potential and sign for a second season is massive. Now I need to kick on and try and be on the first grade team sheet more often than not"
