BEARS SECURE PAUL EMANUELLI

We are delighted to announce the re-signing of Paul Emanuelli for 2018.

Tom Tsang commented:

"I am delighted to be able to announce Paul as our first re-signing for 2018. Paul joined us towards the end of the season this year and had an immediate impact with his control, composure and management of our attacking game. He has been a professional player in both codes of rugby for a number of years and so brings a level of experience and maturity in a key position that will be crucial to the club being successful next season."

Paul said:

"I'm really pleased to agree terms for next season. Since coming on board i've really enjoyed my rugby again. I needed a change and I'm glad I chose Coventry Bears. We had a decent end to the season and probably should have won more games in the League One Shield than we did. I am sure with a big pre-season and that bit of confidence carried over, we can really kick on next year."

I had an awesome welcome from everyone at the club this year and I'm really looking forward to working with Tom, Alan and all the lads again next season.
