COVENTRY BEARS PARTNER WITH TRIBE DANCE & CHEER

The Bears have teamed up with local dance and cheer company "TRIBE" based locally in Cromwell street in Coventry.  Alan Robinson from the Bears spoke of the new partnership;

"This partnership is a hugely exciting one as the Bears head into our 20th Anniversary season it should be a fantastic addition to our match day experience and shows a commitment that we are upping our game both on and off the field for 2018 preparation. Im looking forward to working with Kim and Ellen and im excited about the potential this partnership brings for our community development also."

We are now activley seeking to recruit for the Bears Tribe so please read on and fill in our application form to apply. The club is also seeking sponsors for the Bears Tribe, anyone interested in sponsoring can contact the club directly.

JOIN THE BEARS TRIBE CHEERLEADING TEAM

The ‘Bears Tribe’ are a brand new cheer & dance team to be based at Tribe : Cheer, Dance & Fitness in Cromwell Street, Coventry. We are looking for a 20-strong squad of dancers, cheerleaders, acrobats and gymnasts to entertain the fans at Coventry Bears Rugby League games for the upcoming season. The coaching team made up of Kim Stevenson, ex-Coventry City FC Cheerleader and Ellen Hope-Curtis, ex-London Broncos cheerleader; are looking forward to their new partnership with the Club and are looking for girls aged between 15-28 to join them on their journey!

The Team will perform on match days at the Butts Park Arena at half time aswell as aiding the running of the matchday experience and promoting the Bears in the Community. There is also opportunity for possible paid coaching within schools and at our Cheerleader Experience Days.

If you feel you have the necessary dance, cheer and/or gymnastics ability to be part of this exciting new squad, please apply below. You must be between 15-28 years old, live in or near Coventry, great personality and be able to represent Coventry Bears & Tribe in a professional and positive manner and commit to Tuesday evening training sessions (7.30-9pm) aswell as match days (usually Saturday or Sunday from February to September) plus other events as required. In return you will receive full uniform, free training, professional headshots and photos, and the chance to be part of the biggest cheer dance team in Coventry! Auditions are to be held at Tribe on Tuesday 7th November from 7.30-9.30pm and will be judged by both coaches and representatives from the Club.
