The Price is Right as Half Back Re-Signs

Coventry Bears have continued their preparation for the 2016 season with the re-signing of half back Dan Price. 

Price joined the Bears with six weeks left in the 2015 season but has made an immediate impact in the squad. Like Jack Morrison he is a player who will be invaluable to have at the club for a full season.

Speaking on his re-signing Head Coach Tom Tsang said; " Dan joined us late last season, making his debut after just a couple of training sessions with the side and made an immediate positive impact on the team."

"He gave us good direction around the field and creativity in key areas. He is an elusive halfback with a good turn of pace and a great kicking game."

"As with all the players we have signed for 2016 he has a great attitude and is very 'coachable'. With a full pre-season of training under his belt I am expecting Danny to really kick on and cement himself as a key part of our squad."

Price also commented on staying with the Bears remarking "I've really enjoyed my short spell down here and enjoyed being amongst the lads. I have also enjoyed being around the club in its first season in League One."

"I am looking forward to getting a good pre season under my belt and more time to gel with the team and the new lads who come in." 

"Hopefully with this seasons experience we can get a few more wins under our belts and build on the performances from this year."
