BEARS MOVE TO EARLSDON RFC
BEARS MOVE TO EARLSDON RFC FOR 2025 SEASON
Coventry Bears Rugby League Club and Earlsdon RFC have agreed a groundbreaking deal for the Bears to move to Earlsdon RFC's ground at the R.F Brown Pavilion, Mitchell Ave, Coventry CV4 8DY for the 2025 season.
Both parties look forward to this being the long term home for the Bears, as the Bears continue to grow and look to add additional junior age groups for the 2025 season alongside the mens, womens and girls Rugby League offering over the summer season.
Bears Founder & Chair Alan Robinson is delighted after getting the deal over the line:
"Earlsdon RFC is a progressive forward thinking sports club with superb facilities. Earlsdon understands the value in a multi-sport 12 month facility use approach and I am excited about the Bears being a part of that moving forwards. The pitches and facilities are top class and the whole club looks forward to making this their new home for the long term."
Earlsdon's Chair Michael Roberts is equally as effusive:
"Multi-sport use of our facility is the way forward and having enjoyed success with Highway Netball using our facilities I was delighted when Coventry Bears came to the table and created a 12 month use of the venue. I have no doubt that Earlsdon's players at all age groups will benefit from the Bears during the summer and I am looking forward to this being the Bears' long term home."
Further details of Coventry Bears Age Groups, training times and fixtures will be released in due course.
